I hold a CNRS researcher position at Laboratoire de Physique Théorique de la Matière Condensée (LPTMC, Sorbonne Université, Paris) since 2012.
From 2004 to 2012, I was an assistant-prof (maître de conférences) at Université Paris-Sud.

My field of research is condensed matter theory. Key words: Cold atomic gases. Spin waves. Graphene and more generally Dirac fermions in condensed matter systems. Quantum Hall effect. Berry (geometrical) phases and band theory. Topological insulators. Orbital magnetism. Semiclassical techniques.

From 2004 to 2012, I was an assistant-professor (maître de conférences) at Université Paris-Sud teaching wave physics, quantum mechanics, statistical physics, solid state physics, broken symmetries and statistical field theory, condensed matter field theory, physics for 1st year medical studies, etc.
Since 2013, I have been teaching a course, together with Giuliano Orso, on ``Symmetries and quantum field theory" at the Master 2 Concepts Fondamentaux de la Physique (ICFP) in the ``quantum physics'' speciality. Lectures are on thursday afternoon from 14:00 to 15:30 in Jussieu (tower 55-56 first floor room 1-02). Exercise sessions are in the same room from 16:00 to 17:30.
