Optimizing surface treatment from shot visualisation
In order to bring surface treatment and shot peening technologies to the next level, there is need to understand how shot behaves inside the peening chamber, and how the operating parameters (shot density, velocity, chamber geometry) will affect the treatment. In this respect, a promising solution is provided by the software Shotvisual© which is capable to simulate a huge number of shot peening possibilities for complex components in industrial conditions.
